Update from Administrator – August 27, 2021
Good afternoon, I am writing to keep you informed of our COVID-19 status. Yesterday we completed resident testing and today we completed staff testing and we did detect 4 additional resident cases and 0 staff cases. The cases are isolated to the Sherwood and Whispering Pines units and those units remain closed to visitation for 14 days. The Star unit did not have any new cases and is expected to reopen to visitors on Monday following the next round of testing. Both Brookview North and Brookview South are open for activities and visitation.
As a reminder, residents that qualify for compassion care visits and hospice visits are not affected. All visitors MUST wear a mask throughout the duration of their visit and Must complete screening at the front desk upon arrival.
