Update from Administrator – March 5, 2022

Dear Families,

Good Morning,  I am writing to notify you that we had one agency personnel, test positive for COVID-19.   This person worked on Whispering Pines.

We are contact tracing and tested the individuals that had close contact with this person, we tested those residents who were recently exposed, and all were negative.

We will continue to follow CDC and DPH guidance.  CT State positivity rate remains low at 2.2% yesterday.

The facility remains open for visitation. For the safety of the residents please do not visit if you have been exposed or are not feeling well.

We continue to check the vaccination status of visitors as directed in Governor Ned Lamont’s Executive Order No. 14F and testing all nonvaccinated visitors.

Please remember to bring a photocopy or your vaccination card, if applicable when you visit.

We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.
