Update from Administrator – January 14, 2022

Dear Families,

Good afternoon, I am writing to notify you that we had medical professional test positive for COVID-19.    This individual worked in our center yesterday for 3.5 hours.  They followed proper precautions wearing a N95 mask and had limited contact with residents.  We are contact tracing and tested the resident that had close contact with this individual, all of which were negative.  We will test those residents again next week.   We currently have 1 one employee out with COVID-19 who will return at the beginning of next week.  At this point none of our long-term resident currently have COVID-19.  The positivity rate continues to be high in CT 20%.   We have scheduled additional clinics at our center for employees to receive COVID-19 boosters to comply with Governor Ned Lamont executive order which is effective 2.11.22

The facility remains open for visitation.

For the safety of the residents please do not visit if you have been exposed or are not feeling well.
