Update from Administrator – December 20, 2021

Dear Families,

Good afternoon, I am writing to notify you that we had 3 residents on Brookview unit test positive for COVID-19.    We tested all residents today, which were all negative.  Staff testing has started. We will test all residents and staff again this week and next week.

This does not change visitation for our residents, everyone can have visitors even residents on Whispering Pines.

During this outbreak time, visitors on Whispering Pines will be given a waiver to notify them that we positive COVID-19 cases on the unit, visitors should proceed directly to the resident’s room, utilize PPE that is provided, and to keep PPE on for the duration of the visit in the room.

If you have any questions during your visit, please ask to speak with the RN Supervisor (during the day time DNS, ADNS, ICN or Administrator).

We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.
