Update from Administrator – August 23, 2021
Good morning,
I hope you all managed well throughout the tropical storm yesterday. Our facility did very well with no water or wind damage. I did notice that my last update did not go through, I’m thinking it may have been because of the storm. I apologize for that. On Friday, we detected one new case of COVID-19 and last night we detected two new cases. The new cases are on one unit; however, today all staff and residents will be tested. The facility will be closed to visitation during this round of testing and any unaffected units will open by the end of the day. I will update you again later today. Visitation for compassion visits and those on hospice services are not on hold. Just a reminder, any visitor coming into Sheriden Woods must sign in and complete the COVID screening questions and have their temperature checked and wear a mask throughout the duration of the the visit.
Thank you,
Krista Wagner
